• Enforce the highest standards of cleanliness across all kitchens, food preparation areas, and back-of-house facilities, ensuring compliance with local health regulations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate the stewarding team. Oversee daily shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage during peak dining and banquet periods.
• Maintain par stocks of operating equipment (china, glassware, flatware). Conduct routine inventories, prevent breakage, and requisition replacements.
• Monitor the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and machinery (e.g., dishwashing machines, trash compactors) to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with Executive Chefs and the F&B management team to support large-scale banquets, buffets, and daily restaurant operations

• Central staff accommodation in the heart of Zermatt and Täsch

• 2-5 years of proven leadership experience in stewarding or F&B operations within a high-volume hotel or resort.
• Deep understanding of food safety guidelines, sanitation protocols, and occupational health and safety (OSHA/HACCP) standards.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and labor cost management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English
• German and/or French is a plus
