Database Administration & Operations Administer and support PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Cassandra database platforms. Manage databases across design, operational, and system levels. Perform day-to-day database administration activities to support production systems. Tune complex database systems for optimal performance at: Application level Database level System level Performance & Optimization Perform database performance tuning to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments. Ensure databases meet availability and performance SLAs. High Availability & Disaster Recovery Design and implement Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to meet defined business objectives. Implement and support high availability architectures, including: Clustering Replication Support DR testing, failover, and recovery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience as a Cloud DBA. Expertise with: PostgreSQL MySQL Cassandra Proven experience in: Database performance tuning High availability and replication Disaster recovery design and implementation Experience supporting production-grade database environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
