The Senior Technical Product Manager (SDN) is responsible for driving SDN architecture and delivering scalable, production-ready reference designs, including L4L7 network services. This role leads cross-functional efforts to define, document, and validate SDN solutions that meet stringent performance, scale, security, and reliability requirements across enterprise and service provider environments.

This position works closely with engineering, architecture, field teams, partners, and customers to ensure SDN solutions are practical, consumable, and deployable at scale. The TPM translates customer needs, operational best practices, and product capabilities into clear, actionable guidance that accelerates adoption and enables operational excellence.

Required Technical Expertise:

• Virtualization Platforms: VMware (vSphere / ESXi), KVM
• Private Cloud Architectures: On-prem, hybrid, and edge environments
• Software-Defined Networking: VMWare NSX, Nutanix Network Virtualization (Nutanix Flow)
• Networking Fundamentals: Network architecture and design, L2L3 networking concepts, network virtualization
• Advanced Network Services (L4L7): Load Balancing, Firewall, NAT, ADC
• Security: CISSP preferred

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience in networking, virtualization, cloud, or infrastructure software.
• Strong technical understanding of enterprise and service provider networking ecosystems.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in complex, ambiguous environments.
• Proven strength in technical decision-making, cost-efficient solution design, and financial performance analysis.
• Strong business acumen with expertise in problem identification, root-cause analysis, and structured execution.
• Ability to bridge deep technical detail and executive-level communication, enabling alignment across technical and business stakeholders.

The expected salary/wage range for this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. United States of America: Annual Salary USD 126,500 - 240,500 in Colorado // 120,500 - 276,500 in Texas. The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
