Position Overview Location: Overland Park, KS. Telecommuting permitted but work from site 3-4 days per week. Less than 5% domestic travel required.
Responsibilities
Participate in design and implementation of new ERP system to meet tax department needs.
Prepare federal and state income/franchise tax returns and supporting workpapers.
Gather and document data requirements for tax function.
Use reporting & analytic tools, applications, queries, or other data sources to support tax forecasting process.
Perform modifications and enhancements on existing processes as business & regulatory requirements evolve.
Validate and test outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
Provide support and training to end-users for analytic tools & enhanced processes.
Gather simple to moderately complex data inputs from multiple sources. Run routine data queries from reporting tools ensuring integrity of data and reporting.
Partner with stakeholders inside and outside the tax department on development and production of data analytics tools to enhance efficiency; ensure delivery meets agreed requirements.
Assist with analysis, design, and testing of various enhancements & changes to reports or data sources.
Support tax team with reporting, analysis, and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Prepare documentation to support compliance with SOX 404 controls and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Information Management, Accounting, or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience.
Alternative: Master's degree or foreign equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience.
Skill Requirements
Microsoft Excel proficiency, including macros, advanced formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested IF). Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Manage project timelines via Outlook.
Hands‑on experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP), ONESOURCE Income Tax (OIT), Bloomberg Tax Research, RIA Checkpoint; support tax compliance and provision processes.
Experience preparing reconciliations and running reports in SAP GUI or Oracle ERP Cloud; export to Excel and integrate into dashboards.
Experience using Denodo data virtualization platform for SQL queries, clean unified data for reporting, dashboarding, analytics. Manage historical invoice data from multiple sources and produce insights via Tableau dashboards.
Use Alteryx Designer to integrate and prepare data from multiple sources for tax reporting; build automated workflows (Input, Join, Union, Summarize, Filter, Output). Perform data cleansing and calculations.
Maintain centralized data storage using Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint; automate workflows, improve tax data accuracy. Use Power Apps for visualization.

Salary: $72,209.50 - $93,400 per year.
