Qualifications PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: Preference will be given to individuals with six (6) months or more experience in healthcare, typically in Human Services. **Agency Requires current WY CNA certification. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of client protocols and interventions of therapy. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and practice partner. Knowledge of procedures of specialized sensory programs to include olfactory, vestibular motion, tactile implements, and auditory interventions. Knowledge of mental illnesses and disabilities. Knowledge of program adaptations. Knowledge of recreation and social programming. Knowledge of motivational techniques. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's Degree (typically in Healthcare) Experience: No prior experience required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification OR Education & Experience Substitution: 1-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Human Services) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CNA Certification Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Lift medical/patient equipment of varying sizes and weights up to about 50 lbs. Work evenings, nights, and /or weekends as scheduled. NOTES: FLSA: Non-Exempt A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, the Department of Family Services, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant. For our residents' health and protection, annual influenza vaccination and testing for tuberculosis are required. Employees of this facility will be expected to follow all rules and requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services regarding COVID-19.
