*Job Overview*
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing initiatives from inception through completion. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational excellence. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and foster a culture of innovation within manufacturing environments. *Responsibilities*
* Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of manufacturing projects.
* Lead program development and design efforts by gathering detailed requirements, conducting process mapping, and performing root cause analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
* Manage project scope, schedule, risk, and cost control through tools like Jira, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and PPM software to maintain project health and stakeholder confidence.
* Facilitate meetings for project coordination, conflict management, and progress updates while ensuring clear communication across teams using platforms such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Workday.
* Implement change management strategies to support organizational transitions smoothly while fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen and other Lean methodologies.
* Oversee vendor management activities including contract negotiations and performance evaluations to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
* Utilize data analysis skills with Excel or SAS for project data collection, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), earned value management (EVM), and reporting on project status to executive leadership.
* Lead technical project & program management efforts in IT infrastructure or product development projects by coordinating with engineering teams and managing technical documentation.
*Experience*
* Proven supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Extensive background in project management lifecycle including scope management, schedule development, risk mitigation, and quality assurance aligned with PMBOK standards.
* Demonstrated expertise in applying methodologies such as Six Sigma (including Lean Six Sigma), Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Kanban, and Scrum for process improvement and project execution.
* Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process modeling, process management, and requirements analysis to support program development initiatives.
* Experience with project scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project along with proficiency in data collection and analysis using Excel or SAS.
* Ability to lead technical projects involving ERP systems or product lifecycle management tools while managing vendor relationships effectively.
* Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams through effective communication skills, negotiation tactics, and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with IT project management practices including IT infrastructure projects using tools such as ServiceNow or SharePoint is a plus.
