Description: We are looking for a passionate Mammographer/Dexa Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will be responsible for using specialized X-ray equipment to capture high-quality breast images to aid in the diagnosis of breast conditions and cancers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, patient care, and safety adherence. You will operate and maintain mammography equipment to produce clear and accurate X-ray images of breast tissue. You will position and compress patients' breasts for optimal image acquisition. You will ensure patient comfort and provide clear explanations of the procedure throughout. You will adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. You will evaluate mammogram images for quality and may require retakes to ensure optimal results. You will maintain detailed patient records and documentation. You will stay up-to-date on the latest mammography techniques and best practices. You may assist physicians during diagnostic procedures depending on the facility. You will promote breast health awareness by educating patients on the importance of regular screenings.
