Über
Support accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with Koa Lani IT Department, PMRF C-ISSM/C-ISSO, ISO and other Government personnel. Monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.
Responsibilities
Assist in all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Supports all ISSO duties and responsibilities in DODI 8500.01, DODI 8510.01, and U.S. Navy Policy.
Supports all activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Process and other policies for the administration and safeguarding of US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information as it pertains to networks, standalone computer systems, and data encryption.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling over 10-25 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and crawling, kneeling or cramped work, requiring repeated stooping and climbing. The environment will include customer contact, extended workdays, in a confined work area.
Education & Certifications
High School or equivalent (Completion of high school courses in computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.)
DoD 8570/8140: IAM I
Skills & Experience
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
Information Technology experience
Ability to learn technical procedures and concepts.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Citizenship & Clearance
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
