About The Role:
As a Flight Software Intern, you will support the design and implementation of mission systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. You will work with the A-GRA (OMS/UCI) framework to help develop interoperable systems and messaging architectures.
Fall: Around 16 weeks (August - December)
Responsibilities:
Support the design and implementation of systems using A-GRA (OMS/UCI) for uncrewed high-speed aircraft Assist in developing and integrating messaging systems that enable communication between mission subsystems Work with messaging standards, protocols, and APIs to support system interoperability Collaborate with engineering teams to test, validate, and refine mission system interfaces and integrations Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. Entry level experience of C++, C, or other embedded programming languages. Experience with working with hardware integrations and embedded computers (Raspberry PIs, arduinos, STM32s). Strong understanding of engineering first principles Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams Interest in mission systems, autonomy, or aerospace systems integration Excellent written and verbal communication skills GPA of 3.0 or above $25 - $33 an hour
The hourly rate listed for this internship is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on degree level.
