Introductie
Ben jij een horecaprofessional die energie krijgt van afwisseling, gastvrijheid én overzicht houden? Voor het museumcafé van UMU in Utrecht zijn wij op zoek naar een Supervisor Horeca die samen met een klein team zorgt voor een soepel draaiende dag.
Je komt te werken op een unieke locatie met een diverse doelgroep: van ouderen tot families. Geen dag is hetzelfde, je schakelt continu tussen rustige momenten en pieken, en speelt hier moeiteloos op in.
Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden
In deze rol ben jij het aanspreekpunt op de vloer en werk je actief mee:
- Openen van de locatie en opstarten van het terras
- Controleren van de planning en inspelen op reserveringen en bijzonderheden
- Klaarzetten van zalen (5 in totaal) voor bijeenkomsten en reserveringen
- Aansturen en meewerken binnen een klein team (ca. 3 personen per dag)
- Verzorgen van een gastvrije en verzorgde uitstraling van de locatie
- Bereiden en uitgeven van eenvoudige gerechten (broodjes, salades)
- Kassawerkzaamheden (Lightspeed)
- Bijspringen waar nodig (ook in de afwas)

Wij zoeken een proactieve, gastgerichte en zelfstandige horecamedewerker die niet bang is om aan te pakken:
Harde eisen:
- Ervaring in de horeca (vereist), leidinggevende ervaring is een pré
- Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels
- Ervaring met kassasystemen (Lightspeed is een pré)
- In het bezit van certificaten zoals sociale hygiëne, HACCP en BHV (of bereid deze te behalen)
Persoonlijke eigenschappen:
- Proactief en ziet het werk liggen
- Gastvrij, verzorgd en communicatief sterk
- Flexibel en schakelt makkelijk tussen drukte en rust
- Teamspeler die ook zelfstandig kan werken
- Niet te beroerd om zelf mee te werken, ook in de afwas
