Responsibilities
Positively represent Brentwood Ace Hardware through excellent customer service.
Answer incoming rental phone calls and provide accurate rental rates and quotes.
Be proficient in Point of Sale (POS) and rental computer programs.
Schedule and check rental equipment in/out each day.
Load and unload rental equipment (lifting required).
Demonstrate use of rental equipment with customers.
Have basic knowledge of two‑stroke and four‑stroke engines.
Read part schematics and order parts from various sources.
Assemble mechanical products, wheel barrows, lawn mowers, and other equipment.
Cut keys and re‑key locks.
Assist with inventory and supply maintenance.
Sharpen lawn mower blades, chainsaw blades, axes, knives, scissors, etc.
Build and/or re‑screen window screens.
Requirements
18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED.
Proficient in written and verbal communications.
Ability to effectively use email.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
Background check with Credential Check or a professional screening service.
Drug test; hair and urine within 24 hours of job offering.
