SCHEDULE: Nights, variable, 30-40 hrs. a week
ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 30
REQUIREMENTS: - California Registered Radiologic Technologist license required. - California Registered Fluoroscopy permit required. - American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. - CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy experience required.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform routine Radiographic procedures, CT Exams, and fluoroscopic procedures for various patient types including pediatric, adult, trauma, and in surgical settings. - Assist Radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and recording pertinent information for physician dictation. - Ensure quality assurance of all department equipment by tracking failures and managing service requests. - Monitor inventory and supplies, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained. - Verify the accuracy of exam requests and consents. - Assist medical staff with special diagnostic procedures while ensuring safe operation of equipment.
