This is an opportunity to join a team at the intersection of technology and private capital. You will work on a cloud-based analytics platform that processes massive datasets for institutional investors. The work is mission-critical, supporting decisions that move trillions in assets. As a senior fullstack engineer, you will shape the architecture and build features that directly impact how investment firms analyze performance. You will tackle complex data problems, optimize systems for speed and accuracy, and collaborate with product and design to turn ideas into reliable, intuitive tools. Your contributions will be felt across the entire platform, from database schema to user interface. We are looking for an engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a product-oriented mindset. You have at least seven years of hands-on experience and are proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL. You must have 7 or more years of professional software development experience You must possess strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL You must demonstrate deep understanding of database schema design and writing efficient, performant SQL You must have experience building modern front-end applications with frameworks like React and tools such as React Query You must be able to explain complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical teammates You must approach work with a product mindset, always considering user impact and not just code correctness What's In It For You

Lead technical projects from ideation to release, owning architecture, implementation, and long-term maintainability Design scalable services, data structures, and APIs that support complex financial workflows Partner with product and design to build user-focused features that solve real client problems Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across teams Mentor junior engineers and support their growth through thoughtful feedback and technical guidance Evaluate new technologies and practices that can strengthen the platform and developer experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with advanced JavaScript data grid or spreadsheet libraries is a plus A background building computation-heavy systems where precision and performance are critical is highly valued Curiosity about emerging developer tools, including AI-assisted coding workflows, will help you thrive Preference will be given to candidates local to New York who can work a hybrid schedule in Brooklyn three days per week Candidates on the West Coast or Central USA must be willing to start each workday by 10:30 AM EST Non-local candidates must be willing to travel to New York three times a year for a week, with travel expenses covered Role Details & Location
