The role requires on‑site work at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida.
Responsibilities
Day‑to‑day Windows systems administration, including OS installation and upgrades.
IT hardware inventory management and end‑user device troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot Microsoft Office tools and maintain cybersecurity compliance for standard and non‑standard hardware/software installations.
Repair and replace laptop and workstation components, keep the IT inventory room organized, provision network access, support production floor, troubleshoot conference rooms, and track inventory accurately.
Provide status reports and effectively communicate outstanding matters/issues to IT and site management.
Basic Qualifications
Conduct location moves, hardware deployments, and assist users with connectivity and other IT related issues.
Ensure all Lockheed Martin hardware and software are properly accounted for, managed, and controlled.
Hardware movement, installation, and accountability.
Installation and configuration of desktop/laptop operating systems.
Setup and periodic audits of hardware inventory.
Coordinate hardware repair activities.
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems/issues.
Build from image server and maintain desktop/laptop operating systems.
Install application software on desktop/laptop systems.
Provide print services and manage consumable supplies.
Desired Skills
Infrastructure services (switches, routers, servers).
Security vulnerability remediation.
Both Windows and Linux knowledge.
Clearance Level None
