Sr Analyst, Security Responsibilities
Process Program Access Requests (PAR) and report required information to the customer, including adverse information, personnel status changes, foreign contacts, and foreign travel. Maintain the local SAP access database, print and distribute program badges, and coordinate local courier services. Update and upload required documents to the customer security database to ensure compliance. Apply operational knowledge of the AFT process and Media Control procedures. Update computer databases with vital security information, collect, study, and implement applicable federal security regulations, coordinate with government agencies for rulings and interpretations, and participate in security reviews. Compare procedures with actual operations, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. Protect employees’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable government regulations. Provide customer service to employees regarding personnel security questions and actions. Work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with minimal management oversight. Administer security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, ICD 705, JSIG) related to personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents/materials, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified information. Support specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material and information. Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and government inspections. Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying potential loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s). Maintain personnel records and perform data entry. May involve extended work hours due to the fast‑paced, deadline‑driven office environment. Qualifications
U.S. citizenship required; active Top Secret security clearance required. University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience, or an advanced degree. Experience with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, and ICD 705. Experience in data entry or database management and media control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Preferred degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Experience in Personnel Security. Experience using eSecurity, JADE, Access Commander, SIMS, and DISS. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. At least 4 years of national security experience preferred, including administrative and office management skills. Training with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC). Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays, depending on the specific business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
