Program Director Opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career while working with an extraordinary team? At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking a Program Director to join our team in our Penn Hills, PA location.

Starting salary of $64,000 annually, aligned with experience and licensure, plus mileage reimbursement.

Position Details

  • Developing and demonstrating a collaborative work environment in support of Merakey's Core Values.
  • Creating a culture that fully engages employees and empowers others to suggest and make decisions for continuing improvement.
  • Providing ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to staff to ensure competent performance while adhering to department and Merakey policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements, as well as requirements from payors.
  • Overseeing the profit and loss for the program and managing daily operations.
  • Maintaining productive working relationships and communication with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing recruitment and new hire onboarding processes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Must hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related Human Services field.
  • Licensed or license eligible as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Social Worker (LSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Behavior Specialist (LBS).
  • Experience in the behavioral health field with:
    • Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting
    • Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
    • Minimum of two years of program management experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
