Senior Network Administrator / Network Operations Deputy Full-time. Clearance Requirement: Secret. Compensation: USD 93,796 - USD 113,805 yearly.

Responsibilities
Lead planning and oversight for network operations, guiding a team of administrators and technicians to ensure secure, resilient, and high‑performing networks.
Identify and prioritize network assignments, coordinating internal and external resources for network‑related initiatives.
Maintain awareness of operational status of networks and communicate status and changes to leadership, Enterprise Service Desk, and interested parties.
Ensure incidents regarding network infrastructure and related core services are tracked, resolved, and appropriately escalated.
Participate in engineering, analysis, and solution development, especially as it relates to network operations and maintenance.
Evaluate new services, technologies, software, tools, and devices that may improve monitoring and remediation capabilities.
Supervise and provide administrative oversight of managed personnel; recruit, onboard, train, and assess network administrators, analysts, and technicians.
Assess current workflows and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
Validate SOPs and TTPs and regularly summarize network accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
Identify and validate RFIs for management and Government customers.
Contribute to and provide feedback on network‑relevant special projects.
Ensure compliance with custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in network administration and enterprise IT service center operations.
DoD 8570 IAT‑I compliant (A+ CE, CCNA, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP).
Prior supervisory experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of IT network administration principles, troubleshooting, and support, including OSI model and fiber (“layer‑1”).
Deep knowledge of switching and routing protocols, installation and configuration; experience with Cisco and Brocade solutions.
Experience implementing and supporting Unified Communications (e.g., VoIP, Call Manager, dVTC).
Availability to support 24/7 operations, including exercises.
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and in a distributed team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
DoD 8570 IAT‑II compliant (CCNA, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
Knowledge of DoD protocols, procedures, and regulations.
Experience with virtual infrastructure, VDI/thin‑client, and VoIP deployments.
Experience with Forcepoint, Juniper, or Palo Alto technologies.
Help Desk or software experience (e.g., Jira, Remedy, ServiceNow).
Awareness of C2 applications.
Understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented work.
May require periods of non‑traditional working hours, including consecutive nights or weekends.
Target Salary Range: USD 93,796 to USD 113,805.
