We are seeking a skilled C# Developer II to join our back-end team. You will be instrumental in developing RESTful APIs and modernizing legacy systems to support our industry-leading property estimation solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based frameworks, algorithms, and tools. Assist in modernizing legacy systems to enhance performance and scalability. Optimize software performance and troubleshoot performance issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to define, design, and implement new features. Investigate and resolve software defects and customer issues. Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Utilize CI/CD systems to automate and improve deployment processes. Actively participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies (architecture discussions, refinements, retrospectives, demos, standups, etc.). Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry and team best practices. Engage in pair programming and code reviews to foster team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Conduct manual quality assurance and participate in user testing as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (relevant technical experience may substitute for education). 2+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies. Strong understanding of TCP, HTTP, RESTful services, and event-driven architectures. Experience with Git or other version control systems. Familiarity with microservices architecture and design principles. Exposure to AWS and cloud-based services. Knowledge of software design patterns and principles. Experience with CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps. Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres) and NoSQL systems. Experience with automated testing and software verification (unit, integration). Understanding of distributed systems and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in optimizing and modernizing legacy systems. Familiarity with CQRS patterns. Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes). #LI-MB1
