Spectra Gutter Systems is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Manager to drive business growth and expand our market presence in the Kansas City & St Louis territories. This role plays a critical part in supporting the profitability and overall success of our production and distribution operations.
The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales professional with strong CRM experience, the ability to quickly build rapport, and a proven track record of generating new business and expanding markets. This position offers the opportunity to make strategic decisions, influence growth, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
Success in this role requires a motivated, results-driven mindset, with a focus on relationship building, self-generated leads, and territory expansion. This is a field-based role requiring up to 75% travel, including occasional overnight stays based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue within assigned territory
Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and self-driven lead generation
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Utilize CRM systems to manage pipeline activity, track performance, and maintain accurate records
Identify market opportunities and support expansion initiatives
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, production, distribution) to ensure customer satisfaction
Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Requirements
Proven experience in outside sales, territory management, or business development
Strong CRM experience and pipeline management skills
Demonstrated ability to generate leads and close new business
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with a high-performance, results-driven mindset
Ability to travel up to 75%, including occasional overnight stays
Valid driver’s license
