Manager-Program/Contract 3 Job Location - Rosemead, CA Duration - 18 Months

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or a combination of experience, education, and training.

• Independently manage a portfolio of physical security technology capital projects valued at $10K and up to $1M.
• Lead efforts to mitigate risks associated with projects, alerting PMO manager and key Corporate Security stakeholders of problem areas while working mitigations with project teams.
• Review physical security engineering plans/drawings to ensure solutions align with established security standards, processes and procedures, and business/project goals.
• Communicate daily (in person, on calls, and email) with a variety of personnel in support scope, schedule, budgets, and coordination of vendor field activities.
• Present project status updates at daily, weekly, and monthly PMO project status calls/meetings.
• Maintain and update monthly project status reports for projects to ensure project health including scope, schedule, and financial progress.
• Lead vendor activities to ensure construction efforts are executed per established schedules and capital spend commitments.
• Support monthly financial variance performance for all assigned projects.
• Document business case, budgets, schedule, and project requirements in the form of project charters.
• Attend field job walks in support of new project engagements and scope assessments.
• Facilitate project status meetings with core project teams, as needed.
• Maintain thorough tracking and documentation of project accounting.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date financial forecasts, outlooks, and MS project schedules for all projects assigned.
• Review vendor dailies to ensure work progress and quality align with SCE standards.
• Lead and promote project safety and safe work practices in alignment with SCE safety standards.

• Engaging interpersonal and communication skills are meaningful to this role.
• 5 years or more of project management experience in a related field.
• 2 years of contract management experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience developing medium to complex project schedules using MS Project.
• Experience maintaining project budgets and developing financial forecasts.
• Experience interpreting and/or designing electrical single-line and logic diagrams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) drawings.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or other related fields.
• PMP Certification.
• Experience with OSHA safety.

• Thorough knowledge of project, program, or contract management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to develop and manage relationships with both internal and external contacts.
• Typically possesses five to eight years of experience in program or contract management.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial, internet, and ecommerce-related contracts primarily consisting of online advertising insertion orders, consulting services agreements, statements of work, marketing and promotion agreements, non-disclosure agreements, recruiting agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Interpret and draft contractual language for the agreements listed above incorporating legal and business concepts.
• Maintain a proficient working understanding of the Company's day-to-day functions and the Company's products and services.
• Analyze contracts, conduct research, and respond to complex questions on provisions of specific agreements.
• Ensure that the Company's corporate policies and directives are vetted and incorporated into contractual documents.
• Review contracts for acceptable terms and negotiate changes as appropriate.
• Determine whether contract requests which vary from the established standards can be accepted or require additional authorization.
• Direct business colleagues in obtaining any necessary approval(s) for non-standard contractual requests made by customers.
• Monitor the approval(s) from the appropriate subject matter experts and release agreement when all approvals are received.
• Update, maintain, and ensure the accuracy of an internal contract management system, assist department staff with various contract-related projects, and handle all administrative aspects of contract processing.
• Monitor contract expirations and pursue contract renewal, where appropriate.
• Work closely with the team on all revisions to contract templates.
• Serve as primary liaison among various Company departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of contractual documents and field cross-departmental questions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies (including revenue recognition), evaluate pertinent business and financial requirements, and integrate complex negotiation terms leading to the establishment of appropriate terms and conditions.
• Upload all signed agreements to the contract management system.
• Legal-related tasks, as assigned.
