Position Summary Manager, Business Analytics – located in Woonsocket, RI. This role consults with internal clients to identify opportunities for data science solutions, transforming data into actionable insights to improve health outcomes. Responsibilities Apply data mining, modeling, machine learning, and statistical analyses to large data sets and develop insights for business analytics teams. Use data‑oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze, and interpret data, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Compare modeling techniques with statistical performance metrics, recommend improvements, and validate model effectiveness. Structure data analysis to evaluate program performance, business initiatives, and team metrics. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings; create presentations summarizing results, opportunities, and remediation actions. Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and build statistical analysis and predictive models for health metrics and future outcomes. Design experiments to test hypotheses and quantify impacts of improvement initiatives. Develop data science solutions using industry‑leading tools, technologies, and best practices. Mentor junior team members and independently lead development of complex, high‑risk solutions. Consult on analytics solutions that balance business strategy and technical trade‑offs in a big‑data environment. Requirements Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience in the relevant occupation or closely related field. Two years of experience each in: Data analytics on large data sets in healthcare, business, or retail. Capacity planning. Statistical analysis. Agile methodologies or SAFe principles. Oracle, Teradata, or DB2. Relational database concepts. ETL processes. Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases. Data warehousing. Quantitative analysis techniques (clustering, regression, pattern recognition). MS Excel (advanced formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, VBA macros).
Pay Range $120,058.00 to $132,600.00 per year (base salary; variable components may apply). Benefits Full‑time eligibility for medical, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) retirement savings plan.
