Position Overview
Manager, Business Analytics at CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, located in Woonsocket, RI. This role consults with internal clients to design and implement data science solutions, transforming data into actionable insights for business decisions. Responsibilities
Apply data mining, data modeling, machine learning, statistical analyses, performance metrics, and predictive and descriptive modeling to extract and manipulate data from multiple large data sources. Utilize data‑oriented programming languages and visualization software to explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data and communicate insights to inform business decisions. Compare modeling techniques using statistical performance metrics and recommend improvements. Structure data analysis to drive analytics insights and determine the effectiveness of programs, initiatives, and team performance evaluations. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings to internal clients and leadership; create presentations summarizing results, optimization opportunities, and remediation actions. Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and develop statistical analysis and predictive models to evaluate scenarios and predict outcomes. Design experiments to test hypotheses and quantify impacts of improvement initiatives. Design and develop data science solutions using industry‑leading tools, technologies, and best practices. Mentor junior team members. Independently lead development of high‑complexity solutions, set priorities and strategy for the analytics organization. Consult on the creation of analytics solutions that balance business strategy and technical trade‑offs relevant to a big‑data environment. Telecommuting available. Requirements
Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related field. Completion of university‑level coursework, research, internship, or thesis in: Visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) Marketing analytics, clinical trials, or health research Quantitative analysis techniques (clustering, regression, pattern recognition) Healthcare data management processes (data standards, interoperability, data privacy) Experience in developing and implementing data science solutions in a business context. Compensation
Pay Range: $98,571.00 to $199,144.80 per year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. Eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and company equity award program. Benefits
