To support our Sales and Engineering Office in Southfield, Michigan we are immediately looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop long term customer relationships at different levels to promote, sell and win the design-in of MD products
- Cultivate a regular schedule of meetings with customer's purchasing, engineering, and Quality departments
- Generate reports and perform forecasting as required
- Handling of RFQ's, including pricing calculations and quotation tracking
- Provide cost breakdown
- Maintain accurate price history
- Align and execute account strategies in-line with global account strategy
Your profile:
- Bachelors degree in business administration or electrical engineering
- 3+ years of related automotive industry account management experience
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge especially MS Excel and Power Point
- Analytic thinking, great communication skills, efficient and independent working style
- Ability to prioritize while maintaining a diverse workload
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Understanding of the automotive electronics industry
- Experienced in selling to OEM from Tier 1 or Tier 2 level required
