Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and support security-related screening and visitor control procedures in accordance with site protocols.
- Assist with incident response, follow post orders, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts during routine operations and emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, and/or military experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
