Position Summary Directly supervise and coordinate activities of the hourly sales team members. In addition, will perform duties such as administrative support, handling issues and other duties that assist in facilitating the overall performance of the sales team. Essential Functions Coach and develop direct reports; Conduct call observations to deliver in-the-moment coaching and training. Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with sales team and document individual development plans. Complete the standard new-hire training alongside other Account Managers, including hands-on experience with the full sales process; cold calling, opening new accounts, and day-to-day functions performed by Account Managers. Monitor sales team performance to ensure daily focus and that goals are met; listen to calls and provide ongoing coaching to improve the overall sales methods and success of the account managers. Own recruiting, coaching, and performance monitoring of the sales team members. Train new salespeople to ensure success; train and ensure adherence to sales process. Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and assist Senior Manager with annual evaluations. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) one evening per week, providing approvals and cross-office manager support as needed. Answer sales team members’ questions relating to pricing, quantity, policies, etc. Monitor effectiveness and suggest new ideas such as sales promotion activities (e.g., pre-books, post-meeting promotions). Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications. Oversee attendance of account managers and coordination of all requested time off (PTO, EIB, FMLA), and the monitoring of overtime. Embody company culture and maintain a high sales associate engagement. Function as liaison between account managers’ questions and other departments (e.g., procurement, compliance, credit collections) so that the account manager can focus on selling. Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others. Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. Conflict Resolution - Ability to deal with others in an antagonistic situation. Motivation - Ability to inspire oneself and others to reach a goal and/or perform to the best of their ability. Goal Oriented - Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result. Education and Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) or work equivalent. Experience: Two+ years of previous high coaching supervisory experience strongly preferred. Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication; familiarity with data analysis and reporting; positive and enthusiastic demeanor. Salary $63,000 - $68,000 + commission
