Systems Administrator - Journeyman
to support our customer. This position provides advanced, hands‑on field support across multiple sites, ensuring reliable network performance, efficient troubleshooting, and the maintenance of critical infrastructure. Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot secure Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto) across classified and unclassified DoW networks to ensure continuous, secure mission operations. Maintain, secure, and optimize Windows/Unix servers, storage, and virtualization environments for PHNSY & IMF in strict compliance with Department of War (DoW) policies. Administer, troubleshoot, and repair Windows/Unix servers and VMware virtualization infrastructure. Execute daily system monitoring, backup/recovery procedures, and enterprise account management. Ensure DoW cybersecurity compliance through active vulnerability management (e.g., ACAS), patching, and STIG implementation. Qualifications
Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance. Cyber Workforce (CWF): Must meet qualification requirements outlined in DoW Directive 8140.01. Experience: Journeyman-level experience (typically 3–5 years) in Windows and/or Unix administration, virtualization, enterprise storage (NAS), and security remediation.
