Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 4 10-hour shifts per week (6:30am-4:30pm; varying days off)

None
Care Model:
No routine CRNA supervision; must be comfortable assisting CRNAs if needed

Credentialing:
12 weeks
Qualifications / Job Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology (ABA board certification preferred)
Active California medical license required at submission (CA medical license)
California DEA license (CA DEA)
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of hospital-based anesthesia experience
Experience with EPIC (HealthConnect) strongly preferred
Local providers preferred for quicker start, but open to qualified travel anesthesiologists
Responsibilities
Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for general surgery, colorectal, endocrine, surgical oncology, vascular/endovascular, GI, and orthopedic cases
Manage general anesthesia and perioperative care, including pre-op assessment and post-anesthesia handoff
Care for healthy pediatric patients (low-acuity cases only)
No obstetric cases required
Collaborate closely with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to optimize patient outcomes
Assist CRNAs as needed and function effectively within the hospital's anesthesia care model
Document care thoroughly in EPIC and follow hospital protocols for patient safety and quality
