Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant that enjoys a dynamic environment where you can utilize your skills in all different areas of the hospital?
Edmonds-Westgate Veterinary Hospital might be a great fit for you! Our assistants play a crucial role in providing the best care to our patients and are a vital part of the team. Some of your responsibilities include: client education, setting up surgery and assisting with monitoring anesthesia, venipuncture, assisting with appoints and outpatient treatments.
This is a full- time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed generally Monday - Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts.
Full-time benefits and compensation:
  • Compensation: $21-26 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

Your qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary assistant, animal care, kennel assistant, or related role preferred
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Patient restraint (dogs and cats)
    • SQ, IM and IV injections and vaccines
    • Patient care for hospitalized patients
    • Client communication and education
    • Setting up surgery suite
