Overview The SNC Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members, who during this time gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for a full-time civilian career. NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military. For more information, visit https://www.sncorp.com/company/business-areas/. Must‑Haves Active duty military status and eligibility to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program. High School Diploma or GED equivalent, typically 5 or more years of relevant experience, or higher education may substitute for relevant experience. Proficient ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents. In‑depth understanding of electrical wiring concepts. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products. An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. Preferred Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs. Experience with Network+, Security+, CCNA and/or A+. Experience with FCC or FCC GROL. Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or other measuring equipment. Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards. Background in the aerospace and defense industry, the U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military. Security Clearance and Eligibility This position requires a current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; non‑U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
