As a Supply Chain Manager within the Returns Network S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), you will have the opportunity to create and improve existing forecasting methodologies, drive major supply chain decision making, influence network stakeholders, and lead the expansion of our network. You will have a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon Returns network and be an integral part in creating and implementing large scale strategic initiatives in inventory optimization, transportation cost, labor capacity management and more – all with the goal of better serving our customers. This role requires data‑driven decisions and stakeholder relationship management in an ever‑changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate strong customer focus.
Make sound business judgments to drive tactical and strategic improvements.
Own programmatic execution at detailed and strategic levels.
Identify, prioritize, and implement processes to eliminate supply chain defects.
Create, develop, and drive solutions that lead to a richer end‑to‑end customer experience.
Execute thorough root‑cause analysis and deliver results.
Operate and influence cross‑functionally.
What a Day Looks Like This role includes creating weekly S&OP plans for the Returns network and addressing operational problems as they arise while partnering with relevant stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience.
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of driving process improvements.
Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
Benefits The base salary range for this position is $115,400 – $160,000 annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription), basic life & AD&D insurance, supplemental life plans, employee assistance program, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
