**Location:** RI/MA/CTMazzotta Rentals, Inc. (MRI) is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to assist with generating new revenue in rentals and equipment sales. This role involves servicing our existing customers as well as identifying and gaining new business customers.
Most days are spent in the field within the territory, with occasional need to report into the branch office. We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and self-driven individuals who are looking to build lasting relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and excel in a team environment. Superb communication skills, a broad understanding of equipment maintenance, and the ability to multi-task are also necessary.**Responsibilities*** Quickly respond to inbound leads and requests.* Expand the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction companies.* Identify new clients through market research, networking, referrals, and visiting job and construction sites.* Cultivate existing customer relationships to ensure complete customer satisfaction, customer retention, and gather feedback for service improvement.* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.* Sustain timely and effective response to customer service inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications by providing expert advice and support.* Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential customers.* Conduct touch base meetings with branch managers and service managers to discuss upcoming equipment needs and collaborate to resolve issues.* Communicate your business strengths and opportunities to the COO, CAO, and CFO. Present solutions and ideas for improvement in operations and sales growth.
**Salary**
75,000 - 85,000 annually commensurate with experience and industry knowledge. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Retirement savings 401K plan and company match. Paid time off and holidays.## Qualifications**Requirements*** Aptitude for exceptional relationship building and communication skills.* Excellent phone etiquette and customer service expertise.* Strong planning, problem solving, and negotiation ability.* Self-motivated, highly organized, with impeccable attention to detail.* Superb communication skills and the ability to multi-task.* Knowledge of construction terminology is a plus.* Reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 pounds or more.* High school diploma required.* Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.* Preferred Experience: 1-5 years’ experience in sales within the equipment rental or similar industry. #J-18808-Ljbffr
