Key Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Prospect relentlessly through phone, email, and digital channels to generate new business opportunities.
Understand and execute the complete territory management process, including identifying gap opportunities and developing strategies to win back business.
Grow existing accounts by identifying new opportunities and expanding share of wallet.
Build relationships with decision‑makers across Purchasing, Engineering, Laboratory, Maintenance, and Quality departments.
Identify and qualify new opportunities to expand business and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Manage the full sales cycle including investigation, qualification, proposal/quote development, follow‑up, and closing activities.
Execute pricing and quoting strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and performance tracking within CRM systems.
Stay current on market trends, competitive activity, and product knowledge.
Effectively communicate Cole‑Parmer’s value proposition to customers and prospects.
Support a One‑Antylia culture through collaboration and partnership across the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in a science related field from an accredited higher learning institution strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Minimum 3‑5 years of inside sales, technical sales, or territory management experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Strong hunter mentality with the ability to prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Business and technical acumen to understand customer needs and position effective solutions.
Results‑oriented and self‑motivated with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build long‑term business relationships.
Thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.
Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.
Ability to travel for training and team meetings up to 10%.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $60k - 75k, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Plus commission.
