Working in support of the Medical Devices U.S. Sales Division, the Capital Service Contract Analyst interfaces with Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, OEC, and Legal to apply business management principles and financial concepts that maximize the company’s performance against sales and profit goals while minimizing risk. Responsibilities
Lead the overall processes for contract origination, prepare formal written proposals, analyze and develop service contract renewals. Provide independent financial, business, and consultative support to the Field Sales Organization related to capital equipment contracts. Formulate and negotiate contracts and capital equipment configurations with legal, contract compliance, and management to facilitate positive outcomes. Perform timely review, detailed financial analysis, and administration of sales requests for capital equipment. Develop customized strategic analyses for deal modeling and customer‑facing analytics using advanced Excel skills. Compose service proposals, quotations, and executable contracts from approved templates, incorporating inputs from Enterprise Accounts and Sales Management. Allocate and analyze the customer’s capital footprint, articulate key conclusions, and make recommendations. Manage document analysis and complete written responses to product and service questionnaires related to RFP submissions. Review customer redlines, modify general contractual language for customer‑specific programs, and seek final approval, coordinating with legal, privacy, OEC, tech services, security, finance, risk management, and customer service. Negotiate terms directly with customers and assess performance of existing contracts, coordinating on non‑compliance resolutions and generating amended contracts. Recommend best practices to improve processes and services and identify and apply cost‑effective solutions. Maintain positive, cooperative communications with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Facilitate cross‑departmental coordination and serve as an effective liaison between the field sales force and internal operations. Prioritize multiple tasks in a time‑sensitive environment and develop creative solutions to meet departmental goals. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. 3–5+ years of experience in contract analysis, financial analysis, business analysis, or sales operations with financial modeling experience. Expert‑level Excel proficiency for complex pricing and contracting analyses. Experience managing and analyzing large, multi‑source datasets (Salesforce, CRM, ERP, contract management systems) with a strong data governance discipline. Contract development experience in a medical‑related field and familiarity with writing and editing legal contract language. Knowledge of FDA regulations and other regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating procedures. Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. Capacity to extract data from multiple information systems on an ad‑hoc basis and to identify innovative solutions to complex problems. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain strong attention to detail in a high‑volume environment. Experience in a broader enterprise/cross‑division business unit model is preferred. Compensation
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. Additional Information
