Design Assistant
to join our Ted Baker team. This is a full-time position that requires you to be in the office 5 days a week. This role is great for someone looking to grow their design career as we offer many advancement opportunities for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Assist with design research, color, mood and concept Using Procreate/Photoshop to CAD sketches with prints (something we can teach you, but proficiency is preferred!) Working with designer to source trim and fabric for the collection Setting up initial tech packs (designer handles most specs, but there is room for growth) Set up seasonal “Maps” within the Centric PLM system Update and manage “Maps” in Centric PLM after market in a timely manner, coordinating between sales and design and production to ensure all details are correct. Setting up and organizing with the team Attending meetings to take notes and help where needed Requirements Must have a degree in fashion design Minimum 1 + years of design experience Experience with Centric PLM system is a plus Excellent Time Management Skills Ability to multi-task with many assignments at once Adherence to strict deadlines A great attitude for working in a team-oriented environment A go-getter who is easily able to adapt in fast paced environments The salary for this full-time role is $65,000 per year.
