What you'll do: Help Artemis grow:
As an early backend engineer at Artemis, you will be a foundational part of our team. We are at an inflection point where we have paying customers, a strong pipeline of prospects, and need help growing Artemis. You will have a defining role to build APIs that will support our expanding product lines, dashboards, and 0 → 1 products.
Own and build High Performance APIs:
Artemis ****has over 100k monthly active users on our terminal and receive 10+ million monthly APIs calls through our plugin product. We are constantly growing to new customer bases and onboarding institutional clients which requires us to have robust and performant APIs. As an early backend engineer at Artemis we expect you to be able to build scalable and performant APIs that is the back bone of multiple Artemis Products used by 100,000s of users every month from liquid token funds to large hedge funds.
Push the limits of crypto data products:
Our mission is to redefine how people use and understand crypto data by creating what we call N of 1 products. We start by powering the most sophisticated investors in the space and then opening that product to the 100s of thousands of users that use our site for free.
Help us move more onchain:
Our 2025 goal is to move more on chain. We have many exciting projects to help bridge our terminal product and data sets to more on chain native primitives. As an early engineer at Artemis you will also be expected to get your hands dirty and build more on chain native software whether its writing actual EVM / Solana smart contracts are APIs that interact with smart contracts.

Work closely with our partners at crypto protocols and foundations to build products that will be deeply embedded into their workflows.

Who you are
You have 2+ years of production backend software engineering experience
Based in the broader New York City area
You love to ship products, exercise agency, have a growth mindset, and love crypto.
You want to build n of 1 products ie products that have never been built before and redefine how this space operates.
You don’t shy from working 50+ hour weeks and you just love shipping product
Prior experience working with onchain data and onchain development is a plus
