Develop new business by pursuing new customers and researching industry and market trends impacting restaurants within the assigned territory. Identify and research prospective customers within the territory. Develop sales strategies highlighting GFS products, services, values, and solutions, and present them to prospective customers. Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships through regular visits and business reviews. Conduct business reviews to determine customer needs and opportunities for growth. Provide ongoing training to customers on GFS product offerings. Identify opportunities within existing customer businesses where GFS can add value through product and service offerings. Manage the sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition with deepening existing relationships. Coordinate visits to prospective and existing customers. Communicate order status and order processing updates to customers. Training & Support
During the first 90 days, new sales representatives will receive training through e‑learning, classroom sessions, video roleplays, job shadowing, and mentorship from experienced sales representatives. Training covers GFS systems, processes, and tools, product knowledge, the sales process for engaging new customers, relationship building best practices, and territory management. Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree and/or culinary certificate preferred. Minimum 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience. Valid state driver’s license and a safe driving record. Ability to obtain GFS food safety certification. Open to veterans and active military members. Equal Employment Opportunity
