Please note: We do not offer health insurance or retirement benefits at this time. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for handling bumper-to-bumper general repairs on domestic and import passenger vehicles and light-duty gas trucks.
General Repair:
Perform high-quality work across all major systems, including brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, cooling systems, and engine mechanical.
Diagnostics:
Use scan tools to troubleshoot check engine lights, driveability issues, and electrical faults.
Maintenance:
Complete routine services like alignments, fluid flushes, tune-ups, and timing belts.
Quality Control:
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and test-drive vehicles to ensure repairs are done right the first time.
Job Requirements
Experience:
5+ years
of professional experience as an automotive mechanic is highly preferred.
Tools:
Must own and bring an
extensive supply of your own hand tools
and a rolling toolbox/cart suitable for everyday general shop repairs.
Exclusion:
Experience with diesel is not necessary;
this position is strictly for gasoline passenger vehicles and light trucks.
License:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (must be able to test-drive customer vehicles).
Mindset:
Reliable, efficient, and focused on turning out safe, high-quality work.
