This role is accountable for food safety and operational compliance. The Certified Swing Manager enforces food safety procedures, proper handwashing, time and temperature controls, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant. They conduct travel paths, ensure critical control points are being followed, and take immediate corrective action when standards are not met.

Financial stewardship is also a key responsibility. The Certified Swing Manager manages labor deployment to support sales volume while controlling costs. They monitor waste, complete product counts as required, and protect company assets by following cash-handling and security procedures.

Leadership and team development are central to the position. The Certified Swing Manager trains and coaches crew members on procedures, service behaviors, and brand standards. They provide real-time feedback, recognize strong performance, and address performance gaps constructively. In addition, the Certified Swing Manager communicates effectively with the General Manager and other members of the leadership team regarding shift performance, staffing needs, equipment issues, and customer concerns.
