Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing the productive efforts of the bottling operation. It also is responsible for achieving a high level of production efficiency and cost control.

Representative Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary.

  • Ensure production efficiency by effective management of raw material supplies and manpower to supply required quantities of product of the highest quality at the lowest possible cost.
  • Ensure the production of quality products by strict application of Company quality standards and methods to provide top quality merchandise for sale.
  • Control labor costs within budgetary guidelines by controlling absenteeism and maintaining high production efficiencies so that profitability as planned will be realized.
  • Supervise the work efforts of wage and salaried employees by consistent application of work standards and developing people to work up to their potential so that the Company may derive maximum benefit from the employees.
  • Prepare and submit reports on a timely basis by compiling and recording facts and events so management will be informed of all situations.
  • Effectively control raw materials by matching inventories with schedules and ordering material so that production schedules are met as planned.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Assure that performance of all work-related activities will eliminate/minimize personal injury and damage to Company property. Safety is an integral part of each job and each employee is responsible for safety as part of their job performance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Experience, Education, Certification
  • Seven years of manufacturing line supervisory experience.
  • Beverage, food or other fast paced packaging line experience.
  • Maintenance and quality control experience is highly desirable.
  • Effective team builder with demonstrated abilities providing leadership in a unionized environment.
  • Demonstrated superior problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines while dealing with complexity.
  • Good time management and effective decision-making skills.
  • Ability to write reports and compile accurate records.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and manufacturing planning/controlling applications.
  • Ability to work during off-shift hours including night shift and weekends.
  • Good understanding of industrial safety.
Compensation Range

Potential earning is from $105,700.00 to $135,300.00 annually
