Overview We are seeking a Systems Administrator, Installation to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Systems Administrator, Installation maintains smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, coordinating with network engineers. Responsibilities Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system‑wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Minimum 5–8 years of experience in systems administration within enterprise environments Experience supporting multi‑user systems in Windows and/or Linux server environments Experience operating within DoD or Intelligence Community environments One or more of the following DoD 8570/ SP‑SYS‑002 certifications: Security+ (CE), SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, CND One or more of the following environment certifications: Microsoft Windows Server (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate), Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Linux+ (CompTIA), VMware VCP Desired Qualifications Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator VMware VCP‑DCV AWS Sys Ops Administrator Work Environment and Physical Demands Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Type of environment: Varies Noise level: Low Work schedule: Non‑standard shift Amount of travel: 20% Physical Demands Requires regular use of hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Must stand, walk, sit, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; frequently up to 25 or 50 pounds. Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Work Authorization/ Security Clearance U.S. Citizenship Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance Wage Information Target salary range: $116,000.00 - $134,000.00. Salary determined by factors including education, experience, contract parameters and organizational requirements.
