What we are looking for We are looking for a Technical QA Lead with solid experience in software quality assurance, technical leadership, and definition of testing strategies. The position will be responsible for establishing quality standards, strengthening testing practices, and ensuring that each team delivers solutions with the expected level of quality, especially in projects for clients in highly regulated sectors. The ideal profile is a person with strong technical criteria, a practical leadership approach (player-coach), capacity to drive continuous improvement, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. Essential requirements University degree in Informatics, Computing, Systems, or related field. More than 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a solid technical focus. At least 2 years leading QA teams technically. Proven experience working with clients in regulated sectors, such as banking or government. Experience in designing and strategy of tests, including risk-based testing, coverage analysis, and test case design techniques. Experience defining acceptance criteria, managing test data, and entry and exit criteria. Dominance of at least one modern automation framework such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress. Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines. Experience performing API tests (REST and SOAP) and handling test data. Knowledge in defect management and traceability using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools. Proven ability to review, strengthen, and elevate the technical level of QA teams, supporting technical decisions in front of leaders and clients. Experience providing technical mentorship, reviewing artifacts, and promoting team growth. Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and orientation to continuous improvement. Desirable requirements Experience in projects in the banking, insurance, or government sectors. Experience in performance testing using JMeter or k6. Knowledge in security testing and good practices based on OWASP. Experience applying artificial intelligence in QA processes, including test case generation, MCP, or testing agents. ISTQB Advanced certification or related certifications in test automation. Main responsibilities Define and implement the testing strategy for the different cells, establishing quality standards, acceptance criteria, coverage, management of test data, and entry and exit criteria. Review the technical quality of QA deliverables, evaluating risk analysis, boundary cases, negative tests, and correct traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. Drive quality indicators that allow improving the effectiveness in the detection of defects, reducing incidents in production, and strengthening test coverage. Define, strengthen, and evolve the testing automation strategy, establishing frameworks, regression coverage, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Perform technical reviews of the artifacts generated by the QA teams, promoting the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement. Act as a technical reference for QA before client leaders, participating in sessions of refinement, risk analysis, and definition of testing strategies. Provide technical mentorship to team members through accompaniment, technical reviews, and development plans aimed at strengthening competencies. Provide visibility on the performance and technical maturity of each cell, supporting Project Managers in the assignment of resources according to the complexity of the initiatives.
