Global tax structuring and related legal matters for the Global Tax Structuring team. Support the investment process in connection with transactions undertaken by Oaktree managed funds, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations, spin‑offs, and debt and equity financings. Monitor tax developments to assess potential investment portfolio impact and identify opportunities. Partner with portfolio managers and investment professionals on ongoing portfolio optimization and tax management considerations. Advise on tax aspects of strategic initiatives and transactions, including corporate tax matters, complex partnerships, and ad‑hoc tax advisory projects, and support senior leadership on strategic decisions. Assist with IRS and state audit management. Support the Global Client Group and other stakeholders on new product launches and tax considerations relevant to strategic client partnerships. Perform other tasks and projects as necessary. Develop and maintain relevant industry contacts and manage relationships with third‑party tax advisors, accounting firms, and law firms, focusing on identifying best‑in‑class service providers. Qualifications
5‑10 years legal experience within tax, either at a law firm or in the financial services or asset management industry. Strong understanding of U.S. partnership and corporate tax law, as well as rules applicable to U.S. and non‑U.S. taxable and tax‑exempt investors. Proven capability in analyzing complex data, evaluating information, and drawing logical conclusions. Demonstrated ability to identify key issues and propose solutions. Track record in planning and project management, maintaining composure under pressure while meeting deadlines. Personal Attributes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a small team and speak in large group settings. Ability to resolve demanding situations professionally. Solutions‑oriented self‑starter, capable of taking initiative and working with minimal supervision. Education
Bachelor’s degree and JD or equivalent law degree required. Benefits
Base salary: $200,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications). In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a flexible work arrangement. Equal Opportunity Employment Policy
