Über

Basic Function Based out of Industrial Oils Unlimited, LLC, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma and reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Operations, the Quality Assurance Associate examines products, materials, and processes for defects or deviations from specification. This role is responsible for crafting and refining skillset procedures to maximize quality and consistency. This position is safety sensitive in nature and is not associated to or perform work for the HF Sinclair refinery located in Tulsa, OK. This is a salaried non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
Job Duties
Understands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices
References Bills of Material against production to ensure quality of product and final packaging
Conducts shipping and receiving inspections
Works closely with production employees to achieve a quality product
Completes reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accurately
Performs secondary checks on production processes
Participates in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned
Creates, updates and monitors skillset procedures to ensure efficiency, quality, and currency
Performs quality audits on processes throughout the production cycle
Other duties as assigned by management team
Experience
One year of experience in a quality assurance position within a manufacturing setting required
Three years of prior experience in manufacturing roles preferred
Education
H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Required Skills
Valid driver’s license
Forklift license preferred but not required (will certify on site)
Proficiency in quality assurance systems and related software tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed, timely decisions
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking, reconciliation, and documentation
Effective basic written communication skills
Ability to apply fundamental mathematical concepts in inventory calculations and analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong emphasis on Excel
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility None
Work Conditions Warehouse, production plant environment, outdoors and indoors, including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock. Subject to all temperatures and weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to push or pull up to 70 pounds
Ability to work in warehouse and operational environments while adhering to all safety requirements
