Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving and armed post, ideal for a professional who values teamwork, integrity, and customer service while supporting a welcoming environment through clear communication, reliability, and a people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:

- Provide customer service to patrons, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in written reports and communicate important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
