The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program (NG-MIP) is an approved SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. NG-MIP is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last 6 months of service, for up to 180 days. The Northrop Grumman Military Internship Program is open to all ranks and experience levels. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from Northrop Grumman, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members. Responsibilities Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman – Military Internship Program (DoD SkillBridge) utilizing the DoD guidance for SkillBridge. During this program, the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career-type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40 hours per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program. Goals – Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity at the conclusion of the training. Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC. Objectives - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly trained, capable, future employees who align with the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission “Defining Possible” on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities. Has served at least 180 days on active duty Is within 12 months of separation or retirement Will receive an honorable discharge Has taken any service TAPS/TGPS Has attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to the start of the internship

Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) seeks to find a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program. This position may be at our Morrisville, NC, Aurora CO, Fairfax VA, or Linthicum MD sites. Responsibilities (Engineering role)
A DevOps Engineer plans and evolves processes and infrastructure to execute programs which support rapid maturation and deployment of capability while sustaining a stable security posture and incorporating ongoing stakeholder feedback. Integrates development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools and continuous integration/test frameworks. Implements provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, componentizing, or Cloud distribution. Functions with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for CI/CD pipelines.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work. This requisition may be filled at either a level 3 (Principal) or a level 4 (Sr Principal), depending on the candidate’s experience as laid out in the basic qualifications detailed below as well as the interview assessment. Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application Minimum years of experience needed to be considered:
Level 3 (Principal):
5 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's 3 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's 1 Year of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. 7 Years of relevant experience with a completed associate’s degree 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required)
Level 4 (Sr Principal):
8 Years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's 6 Years of relevant experience with a completed Masters's 4 Years of relevant experience with a completed Ph.D. 10 Years of relevant experience with a completed associate’s degree 12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a completed degree (High School diploma or equivalent is required)
Must Have Above Minimum Experience On The Below
Experience with developing microservices Must hold a Security+ Certification Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/C2S and Terraform Experience with Linux and Ansible Experience with Jira, Jenkins and Git/Version Control Software Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels Familiarity with API Security, Container Security, AWS Cloud Security
Preferred Qualifications
Active/Adjudicated Polygraph (CI or FSP) Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address infrastructure and security requirements Ability to identify the needs to build automation, designing and implementing CICD solutions Experience working with Docker containers and Helm charts Familiarity with space vehicle ground segment design Experience with Agile development Excellent technical writing and team building skills

Explore your future and launch your career today. #definingpossible Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $165,500.00 Salary Range 2: $124,900.00 - $206,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
