A Sales and Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing a region or sector to achieve Amerivents revenue goals and maintaining company objectives and culture. This involves (along with senior leadership) setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, coaching and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement. In addition they are responsible for planning, organizing, and managing personnel to meet a company's staffing needs. They work closely with the HR department to ensure proper recruitment, scheduling, and employee placement, while also managing (with HR) aspects like training and compliance. This person should be motivated, personable, a team player, and driven to grow the future of the business. In this role, they serve as the primary account manager for assigned clients — owning the booking process, client relationship, and long‑term account growth.
Responsibilities
Developing and Executing Sales Plans along with Senior leadership: including creating and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets, setting goals, and managing the sales pipeline.
Analyzing Sales Data: including tracking sales performance, identifying trends, and making data‑driven decisions to optimize sales efforts.
Managing Budgets: including developing and managing the sales budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Client Relationship Ownership & Growth: own assigned client accounts by developing genuine, long‑lasting relationships, earning trust, anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, and driving repeat business and account growth. Travel may be required.
Business Development & Sales Growth: proactively seek new opportunities through referrals, in‑person relationship check‑ins, and networking events. Maintain an active LinkedIn presence to build brand visibility and generate leads; and approach every client interaction with a sales growth mindset.
Recruitment and Hiring: assist in posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Scheduling and Placement: develop and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage.
Onboarding and Training: assist in onboarding new hires, providing orientation, and facilitating training programs.
Employee Relations: serve as a point of contact for employees regarding staffing issues, questions, and concerns.
Performance Management: monitor and document staff performance, and assist with performance reviews.
Compliance: ensure compliance with internal and external regulations related to staffing and employment practices.
Reporting and Analysis: prepare and submit reports on staffing operations, including performance metrics and staffing needs.
Collaboration: work with other departments, such as payroll and finance, to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee data and compensation.
Full Ownership & Engagement: take full responsibility for client relationships, staffing operations, communication, follow‑through, and ensuring commitments are consistently met.
Relationship Building & Client Engagement: A natural ability to develop genuine, long‑lasting client and account relationships – earning trust, anticipating needs, and becoming an indispensable partner to every account they manage.
Reliability & Accountability: Demonstrates consistent follow‑through, responsiveness, ownership, and dependability. Can be trusted to represent Amerivents professionally with clients, staff, and internal teams.
Supporting sports & entertainment events on an as needed basis.

Technical skills: Proficiency with sales software, Hubspot systems, and other relevant tools.
Preferred Education and Experience At least 1-2 years of applicable experience in demonstrated growth sales.
2 years experience in hospitality industry preferred.
Experience in Excel, Word document, Power Point.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment as well as at contracted locations. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position. Days and hours of work are flexible based on client, talent and event needs.
This position may also require long hours and weekend work that may be attributed to a number of special events throughout the country. Ability to work a flexible schedule in order to accommodate business levels.
Travel is primarily based on contracts secured outside of the metropolitan area and visits to event spaces secured and contracted.
