Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rover in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location as an armed, driving officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this dynamic role, you will bring reliability, integrity, teamwork, and innovation to every interaction while helping protect people, property, and operations.

Pay Rate: $28.81 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity in varying environments and conditions.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards, handling security-related concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- A current armed guard card and/or license is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
