About the Team The Clinical Information Department at Tamworth Hospital is a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality health information services. Our staff bring extensive knowledge and experience across all areas of health information management and are passionate about supporting patient care through accurate and timely information management. About the Role As an Administration Officer within the Clinical Information Department, you will play a key role in supporting the management of patient health information and maintaining the integrity of clinical records. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and scanning clinical documentation Managing reception and customer service enquiries Processing Release of Information requests Managing loose sheet workflows and record maintenance Supporting Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) processes and workflows Providing high-quality administrative support to internal and external stakeholders Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with health information standards This position reports directly to the Health Information Manager and has no direct reports. About You We're seeking a motivated and organised individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will bring:
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Strong communication and customer service skills The ability to organise and prioritise competing tasks effectively A professional approach and commitment to maintaining confidentiality Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues Confidence using technology and learning new systems and processes A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning While experience in health information services, medical terminology or clinical information systems will be highly regarded, these skills can be developed through comprehensive training and support provided within the role.
