Responsibilities Serve as a hands‑on architect, coding, testing, and deploying high‑quality solutions that meet business needs while advancing overall system architecture. Design and implement critical libraries and services used by over 180 cloud micro‑services. Provide technical thought leadership and drive architecture decisions that improve development velocity, quality, performance, and security. Mentor developers through coaching, code‑review feedback, and demonstrating best practices. Collaborate across services, UI, DevOps, and data functional areas to ensure technology cohesion. Lead day‑to‑day technical responsibilities: architect and develop secure, robust, performant, and scalable solutions; edit code that is testable and maintainable; balance development, testing, deployment, and run‑time costs. Document and enforce non‑functional requirements such as performance, security, and standards compliance. Contribute to enterprise and platform architecture roadmap and implementation. Architect complex application workflows across multiple services, messaging platforms, and data stores. Develop and test WebAPI and WCF services that provide business logic, access varied data stores, and interact through messaging, REST, and SOAP. Write unit and functional tests covering all code. Author SQL Server database schemas and stored procedures. Write and groom stories to define, estimate, and track team work. Measure, detect, and fix performance and security issues. Advocate for appropriate tools and technologies. Review code and provide feedback to improve code quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. 10+ years of experience in object‑oriented programming and software design. 5+ years of experience in .NET WebAPI, WCF, REST, relational database development, version control and continuous integration, agile team leadership, and architecture pattern design. 5+ years of experience in cloud development (AWS, Azure), document storage technologies (AWS S3, MongoDB), and messaging systems (AWS SQS, ActiveMQ). Compensation Base salary range: $130,241 – $189,502, adjusted for market conditions, geographic considerations, skills, and compliance with state/local laws. Legal & Eligibility Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Applicants for North American based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
