Overview Become a part of our caring community. The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer participates in the design and development of cloud-based solutions and applications in the big data space within Humana’s Digital & Data organization primarily using Microsoft Azure and related technologies. Responsibilities Work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications and solutions. Drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluate its performance and implement enhancements. Begin to influence department’s strategy. Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Use your skills to make an impact. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Experience building Cloud Solutions in big data with Azure, AWS or GCP. 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications. Strong SQL skills. Experience with Azure Functions including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Logic Apps. CI/CD experience creating Azure DevOps pipeline. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree. Databricks experience. Python experience. Remote Work Requirements At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense. Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Hours Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Compensation Pay Range: $106,900 - $147,000 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
